LED and Heat-Curable Conformal Coating with Very Low Viscosity

Dymax Multi-Cure^® 9452-FC is an alternative to thin, solvent-based conformal coatings. Typically, conformal coatings are reduced using solvents, creating added handling and mixing of the solvent diluent. The product has no added solvents and maintains its very low viscosity of 20 cP without compromising its “green”  characteristics.

This material is LED curable at wavelengths of 365nm, 385nm, and 405nm and features secondary heat cure for areas where shadows are present. This light- and heat-curable film coating provides good electrical insulation properties, excellent wettability, and is ideal for printed circuit boards and other electronic assemblies. Typical applications include thin conformal coating as well as film coating/flow coating dispensing.

Dymax materials have no added solvents and cure upon exposure to light. Their ability to cure in seconds results in lower processing costs. When cured with Dymax UV light curing spot lamps, focused beam lamps, flood lamps, or conveyor systems they deliver optimum speed and performance for maximum efficiency. Dymax lamps offer the optimum balance of UV and visible light for the fastest, deepest cures.
