LED Curable, Plastic Bonding Adhesive For Catheter Assembly

Dymax MD^® 211-CTH-SC catheter adhesive cures tack-free in as little as four seconds upon exposure to LED or UV light. The product rapidly bonds a variety of metals and plastics used in the manufacture of catheters and other medical devices. Formulated with Dymax patented See-Cure technology, the adhesive starts out bright blue in the uncured state, enabling easy visual confirmation of material placement onto substrates. Upon sufficient exposure to light energy, the blue color transitions to colorless, providing verification of full material cure.

211-CTH catheter adhesive has no solvents added, is ideal for gaps from 4-8 mils, and also meets various ISO-10993 biocompatibility approvals. Bondable substrates include polycarbonate, polyurethane, and polystyrene, as well as stainless steel. Typical applications include Y-connector assembly and balloon bonding.
